Artist's statement on Black and White Works
I selected these pieces because I prefer black and white photography. I began as a film photographer, which gave me a respect and love for the appearance of black and white. I focus on contrast and the rich grayscale in these photos. I hope that viewers will be instilled with a sense of peace and will be able to stop and enjoy a brief moment in time. I attempted a few shots in different fields, such as fashion, but in the end, I returned to black and white.
